Signals from SARA returns with the September 2016 issue

Thanks to the contributors and the editors, “Signals from SARA” returns from summer break with the September 2016 issue, ready to download now!

In this issue: “On the Waterfall – Live!”  will be the program for the September 10th meeting of the Stillwater Amateur Radio Association. Joe KC0OIO will highlight the sights and sounds of digital modes such as PSK, MFSK, RTTY, Olivia, and Throb. Software and hardware choices  will be touched upon. And he’ll take a look at the JT weak signal modes and JT65-HF software.

The SARA General License Class begins September 15 at the Stillwater Public Library. VE Team Leader Shel N0DRX is looking for a few Extra Hams to join the team, a teaser for the Remembering the Edmund Fitzgerald Special Event in November, a new Round Robin Rag Chew debuts on 75 meters, volunteers needed for communications support of the American Diabetes Association StepOut Walk, a member update, and our President recaps the happenings of the summer and teases some of the upcoming meeting programs and club activities.
