SARA POTA Challenge ‘23

We have the first Legend Hunters for 2023. Shane WØNKA is well past the threshold with 1474 hunter contacts. Following him is Shel NØDRX with 1088 hunter contacts. Dave WØOXB is getting close with 929 hunter contacts. These numbers are through March 31.

The full leaderboards through March 31st will be available on the website soon.

This coming weekend, April 15 and 16, is POTA’s Spring “Support Your Parks” weekend. Good time to get out and enjoy spring!

Mark your calendars now for SARA’s POTA Activity Days. Saturday June 10 is the first date on the calendar – this will be the multi-op, multi-park, roving day, same as last year. Saturday August 12 will be the first ever SARA POTA Meetup Day. We will gather at Wild River State Park in Almelund, for a day of multi-op activations. A picnic lunch is being planned. Watch for more details to come.

If you are a SARA member AND have registered on the POTA website (sign up is under the Help/Getting Started tab), you are included in the SARA Challenge 2023.

A thorough source of information for those that want to get started POTA hunting or activating is also found on the POTA website. The page is a great resource of all info for POTA. Start with the Getting Started with POTA page and go from there.
