Free Ham Licensing Class

The Stillwater Amateur Radio Association (SARA) is offering entry-level Amateur Radio (ham) instruction at the Stillwater Public Library, 224 Third Street North, Stillwater, MN.

Nine weekly sessions covering theory and regulations will be held Thursdays from 6 to 8:00 p.m., beginning February 29. Morse code is no longer a licensing requirement.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licenses Amateur Radio operators through exam sessions conducted by volunteers working under FCC direction. Exams will be April 25.
