Stop by and see how ham radio as evolved with developing technology and how amateur radio remains relevant today! From a small handheld radio to large 1500 watt stations, ham radio operators communicate around the world and into space everyday! Even the International Space Station has an amateur radio station! Learn about SARA’s upcoming pico balloon project which will launch a small mylar balloon and radio package into the clouds. With luck, it may circumnavigate the globe multiple times. And you will be able to follow the progress and flight of the balloon.
