MAP Program

M.A.P.  stands for Members Assistance Program.  This is a SARA function that allows our members to get assistance with any problem they might have when setting up or operating their stations.  There is no fee for assistance other than expenses needed to complete the task.  The people who provide this service are strictly volunteer members of the Club.  All of those members realize that the service they provide lessens the frustration of those hams who don’t know how or don’t have the capabilities of solving their problem.  A few examples of help performed in the past has been  antenna installation, equipment operation, answers to technical questions, what type of equipment to buy, and the list goes on.
