SARA This Week – April 12 – April 13

Our experience shows that SARA’s on-air activities help stimulate your cerebral cortex and provide healthy social contact while maintaining personal distancing. Wellness checks continue to be a part of our on-air gatherings, whether stated or otherwise. Joining our on-air activity is not only a wellness check on others, it’s a wellness check of your own overall wellness.

Please note that we’ve made some adjustments to the on-air schedule:

>> The Top Band ragchew is now essentially nightly, with the addition of HF Afterglows following TMT and TMT2.

>> Two Meter Tuesday moves to a 7:00 PM start time this week. Both the Tuesday and Thursday 2-meter ragchews will now have the same scheduled start time of 7:00 PM.

  • Time: 19:00 Central (00:00 UTC)
  • Frequency:  3.584.15 USB Look for the net up 500-1000 Hz +/- on your waterfall.
  • Mode: THOR-16 (NCS will transmit RSID, be sure to have RxID enabled)
  • NCS:  KCØOIO
  • NCS and others participating in the Digi Net monitor the SARA repeater 147.060+ DCS/DCTS 026 Normal during the net to provide assistance as needed. NOTE: The SARA HF Digital Net usually goes into summer hiatus in April, however, it will continue as long as we have interest and participation this Spring.

• 7. SARA Two Meter Thursday (TMT2) 2-meter Round Robin Ragchew & HF Afterglow April 16

  • The Thursday evening on-air round robin ragchew
