Ice Station WØJH featured on ARNewsline Report #1999

The SARA Special Event ICE STATION WØJH 2016 wrapped up Monday afternoon February 15. Over 750 contacts were logged by the 10 members who braved the cold, snow, and then slush to operate from the frozen surface of Lake Elmo. The special event caught the attention of the staff at Amateur Radio Newsline. Kent Peterson, KCØDGY, reached out to Dave W0OXB and prepared a feature about the club’s efforts for the Feb 19 report.
