Field Day is just 1 week away

SARA Field Day will be a “hybrid” event this year, with club members operating from their home QTH, as well as a smaller in-person event at Autumn Hills Park, our Field Day home for the past several years. While we’re not yet back to our full size Field Day event, it is good to see things heading in the right direction.

With the recent popularity of portable operating and tremendous sales of new portable radios, we are trying something new this year. We’ll be setting up a “Bring Your Own Rig” station at our Field Day site at Autumn Hills. Everything you need (except the radio) will be in place so you can try out that new portable rig in the most popular ham radio event in the U.S.
