The instructors will need new technician textbooks. These will be purchased and lent to the instructors for class preparation. There may be a space conflict with the library conference room on the first night of classes.
Activities, Programs & Events: Dave WØOXB
Ice Station WØJH event is scheduled for Feb 14th-16th at Goose Lake in Scandia.
Remembering the Edmund Fitzgerald event at Split Rock Lighthouse is scheduled for Oct 30th– Nov 1st, 2015
Thursday Night Eyeball Sessions – Held every Thursday at 6:00 PM CST at the Stillwater Public Library.
1.903 MHz Round Robin Rag Chew – 8:00 PM CST every night except Tuesday and Thursday.
Scheduled Saturday monthly meeting programs are:
February 14th – Pat WAØTDA will explain how to use the HF Remote Control system.
March 14th – Greg KØGW will give an update on the ARRL.
Member Assistance Program: Only emergency work will be considered during this cold weather time period.
We are still looking for additional volunteers to help with the Handiham Equipment Assistance Repair Tracking System (HEARTS).
Digital Net: Joe KCØOIO
SARA DigiNet will be on air at 1900 CST on Sunday night. The net will be on upper side band 80 meters at 3.582.15. Look for it on the waterfall up 500 – 1000. Mode on Jan 14th will be PSK63. Net will not be on the air on February 1st due to the Super Bowl.
2 Meter Net: Rick KØBR
Monitor the SARA repeater at 147.06 MHz /+ offset tone 114.8 Hz at 2100 CST on Wednesday nights. The net continues to have good participation by a group of 6 to 7 regulars.

New Business:
Joe KCØOIO announced that three new laptops were purchased to replace the old Windows 2000 machines. The Board had authorized $1,000 for this project and they came in under budget. Three Toshiba Satellite laptops with SD cards and cases were purchased for $286 each. They are equipped with Windows 8.1, 500GB HDD, 4GB RAM, and DVD drive. They have already had Fldigi, the logging program and anti-virus installed.
Keith AGØH presented his research into logo coffee mugs. He showed examples of an enhanced logo graphic on two different style mugs. The pricing on the two designs is $2.05/min 48 order and $3.59/min 75 order.
Shel NØDRX reported that there are 57 voting members and a total membership of 63.

The “Release-To-Listen Award” was presented to Peter NØGRM. The award was first presented in 2003 to Dave WØOXB. The rules state that the award cannot be given back to the person who gave it to you and you must give the award out before one year has passed.
The business part of the meeting adjourned at 10:09 AM
Program: SARA White Elephant Gift Exchange
Dave WØOXB explained the rules and kept the game moving. Shel NØDRX was the winner of the $50 Gift Certificate from Radio City. The most stolen gift was a 100’ roll of antenna rope.
