ARRL Field Day June 23 & 24 – 2A MN WØJH

The Stillwater Amateur Radio Association will be participating in the ARRL Field Day on June 23rd and June 24th. The Field Day site is Autumn Hills Park 5701 Norwich Parkway in Oak Park Heights. Set-up begins at 9:00 AM Saturday June 23 and we go on the air at 1:00 PM. We will have two stations, one SSB and one CW, on the air this year. The operating windows we have are Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 P, due to park rules (and lack of overnight operators). We will also have a GOTA station for visitors to get on the air!

In conjunction with our Field Day operation, we will be holding a club dinner for members and guests. Colin KEØIYN has once again volunteered to prepare a fine meal for Saturday evening June 23 serving about 6:00 PM. the menu includes:
* Grilled chicken breasts and pork chops
* Grilled veggie kabobs (peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, onion)
* Potato salad
* Buns
We’d ask for a $10 donation to help cover the costs of food and cooking supplies, and to RSVP with how many to ke0iyn at radioham.org by Thursday the 21st so enough can be purchased ahead of time!

Autumn Hills Park is located south of MN Highway 36 and just west of large Boutwell’s Landing building. From MN Highway 36, go south on Norell Avenue North to the stop sign at 58th Street North. The park is visible in front of you. Take a right on 58th Street and then left at the next intersection which is Norwich Parkway. The Park Pavilion will be on left as you proceed south on Norwich Parkway.
